Module 1: What is EAP?
This module provides a solid foundation and knowledge on what is the English for Academic Purposes, what are the components of it and what is differentiating it from other genres of English for Professional Purposes?
Module 2: Academic Life
This module equips students and researches with the language skills necessary to understand, and get prepared for academic life. You will develop a strong command of terminology on different aspects of academic life inducing institutions, activities costs and functions.
Module 3: Scientific Discussion
This module is focused on scientific language discussing numbers, quantifications , graphs and other academic tools. By mastering this module you will be able to enter scientific discussions fluently.
Module 4: Principles of Research
This module will prepare you to professionally describe research methods in English, refer to source materials, discuss ideas, reporting what other research shows & discuss points of views of yourself and other researchers.
Module 5: Analysis and Evaluation
This module is designed to prepare students and academic researches with to analyst and evaluate scientific events and discussions in professional English.
For this purposes, you will learn how to use academic English to describe the cause and effect relations, to compare and contrast, to describe the problems, change and different situations in scientific reports, articles and discussions.
Module 6: Organizing and Presenting Ideas
The final module is guiding students and academic researches towards proper and professional use of EAP for organizing and presenting ideas. For this purposes, we learn how to use academic English to structure an argument, making connections between variables, evaluate arguments, make an emphasis, and summarize. Module also discusses principles of successful academic presentation.

How Long Will It Take Me To Complete The Course ?
It will take 12 hours of lectures (8 sessions of 90 mins) to successfully cover course materials. This course is online and it follows a live online format where instructor will teach you the course material in person. Since the course in not recorded, it is necessary for you to allocate respective time slots to the course (2 sessions of 90 mins in four consecutive weeks). You need to attend all sessions and pass quizzes to successfully obtain the course certificate.
